Dear all,
Sayadaw has finished his 6 months of preventative chemotherapy following the removal of 17cm of colon in Aug 2018.  All cancer was removed and biopsy of 30 lymph nodes found in the section did not show any spread of the cancer into the lymph.
Now Sayadaw has been given a clean bill of health however it will take about 2 months for his immune system to be restored.
We've added a photo with a message from a friend who is with Sayadaw right now.

We will no longer post updates to this site after this.  However we will keep it active for a period of time to allow everyone to receive and share the news.
