Savannah’s Story

Site created on March 23, 2019

Prayers for Savannah Simpson. She was on a mission trip with Feshly Organization with UGA.  The trip was to Jamaica where she took part in building a school.  During the trip, she was somehow bit by a mosquito and contracted the Dengue Fever along with bacteria in her blood stream that turned sepsis. She was hospitalized and continued to have very high fevers and had to be packed in ice. It’s also feels like every bone in your body is broken! She is now at home but continued to need 24 hour care and on a walker. She is not able to walk without full assistance.
She is a freshman at UGA, Gamma Phi Beta sister and holds an office in the Young Republic organization and a student of the ROTC where she is majoring in Internal Affairs.  We ask for all  to be lifting her up. Savannah is a very active young lady and nothing gets her down. We would love for you to send he get well wishes.
