Sarah has been discharged from the U of M hospital. After eleven days from her open heart surgery and  implanting the left ventricle assist device she is allowed to go home. After hours of final preparation, removing her last PICC line, a bagful of meds and final instructions, Clair put her in the car and she was headed home.
