Hi Amy - Our mutual friend, Marilyn Bolinger, told me that your daughter, Sarah, had an accident - a bad accident. I don't know anything more than that. Please know my heart is with you and Sarah and your daughter Emily as you all move through this tragedy. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you all. I have such fond memories of us on Midland/Pine Acre Blvd. I remember your Dad and my Dad worked together. I remember visiting your Mom and the boys would play together outside. I believe you babysat for us as well! Amy, I don't know your girls but I know you have such a good and tender heart. Sending a big hug and love your way, Barbara

I will use your mantra: Be here. Be in the present. Breathe. Thank you!
Larry, Willie, and I continue to pray for Sarah's healing and for all of your strength. I almost stopped by to see what Sarah's "walk" date was. Now I know that it is early April - so good. Hopefully she will keep progressing rapidly and not need another surgery. If she does, it will not be an emergency! Back to her job in June - yay! Also, thank you for your kind words to me.

Amy, your post gives me goosebumps. I have just re-read it. Here you are ministering to us as you move through now two new realities.......your family's recent one and now the COVID 19 reality. I have written down your mantra, the one you and Emily dared speak to each other. "Be here. Be in the present. Breathe."
Thank you for these powerful words, reminders that there is our God, "an ever PRESENT help in trouble." Be well. Much love, Robin

What a beautiful reflection of your experience and words of wisdom for all to contemplate. To be with 'what is' instead of 'what if'. You are such an inspiration, I'm honored to know you. Much love to you and your family.
