We are believing for complete healing for Sarah from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in the next year and a half.
Sarah has conquered many obstacles during the past 9 months. Recently she had a left frontal lobe of the brain stroke. It caused aphasia, a right facial droop, and some right arm weakness. It was caused by methotrexate (chemo) toxicity. But God cured her within 15 hours and she has no residual effects that we know about. Sarah is a fighter and overcomer.
She is in the last acute phase of treatment. She will be receiving escalating doses of chemotherapy, including the drug that caused the stroke. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors.
Starting in March, hopefully, will be maintenance chemotherapy. It will include daily oral chemo, monthly steroids, spinal chemo, and inhalation antibiotics in the first block (3 months).
Sarah started part time spring semester online classes at Auburn University from home. It's an exciting step toward going back to college full time.
With a new year comes new health insurance with out of pocket costs of $6000. If you want to help her with these costs we would be humbled. She has a Go Fund Me account under the Ways to Help tab. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
May your year be blessed.
