Sarah’s Story

Site created on November 13, 2021

Sarah is currently undergoing treatment from a rare cancer called Chondrosarcoma. So far Sarah has had multiple CT, MRI and PET scans as well as major surgery to remove the tumor and over half of her jaw and replace it with bone from her leg. She has had her jaw wired shut and because of swelling has had an unexpected tracheotomy. She has a long road ahead with physical therapy, getting dental implants and possibly chemotherapy when she is strong enough. Sarah is a fighter but the road to recovery will be long and full of unexpected challenges. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and contributions.
