Journal entry by Sara-ann Kasner

Well that’s the plan anyhow. Started on my final round of steroids today- and I can feel them in every inch of my body. I have said it before and probably will again, this fight with the big C is not for sissies! And my dear husband listens patiently every time I complain and these days it’s hourly and then he reminds me we are on the final home stretch!

I hear the weather is supposed to be springlike later this week and i am hoping to take a walk.   I have taken for granted such simple pleasures like a walk on a sunny Minnesota day in the past.  I hear I will be back doing those things soon and I am anxious to get started.  That and visiting my Grandchildren ......those little Petrie dishes of germs which cancer survivors have to avoid while in the grasp of chemo sessions.

So so here I go- Chemo round 4 tomorrow morning. A good day to rejoice in the fact that this is going to turn out okay and all bad stories can have happy endings. Just got to get through a few weeks of me complaining a lot.
