It was quiet and still, a breeze blowing thru the open window, candle flickered and you took in one last Earthly breath and was immediately released into the Arms of Jesus!

When your life faded from this Earth Sandy, it was loved, cherished and so suddenly missed. We got to witness the unparalleled and undying love that Ed has for you. He professed I love you with all my heart mind and soul and until his dying breath. He sang for you, " you are my sunshine my only sunshine." His love for you made those simple words come to life.

I watched as your sister Hazel sat at your bedside and wanted nothing but you to be healed and whole again and desired nothing but the best care for you in your waning days. She was faithful to her promise to you she was a sister among sisters.

Hazels' daughter cried the day she saw you, not for what is but missing what you used to be.

Donna knew and understood too, she was as passionate about your care here as she was the care of your soul on the other side. She sang to you in those days, filling the room with the presence and peace of God.

It was in this beautiful setting that your life faded from the earth, I watched the glorious last stand and witnessed the afterglow of ultimate freedom and victory...you tackled death as you did life, unabashedly stylish and with a flare of diva.
