Journal entry by Melissa Sexton —
Mom is doing really well on the walking, she goes 450 feet with her walker and has no back pain!! TCU will be discharging her by next Monday when I have her apartment ready. She will be moving to the assistant living side of her building just so she has extra help if and when she needs it. Her address will remain the same except for the apartment number which will be 333. She will have home care for a while which will include PT and OT,and she has a great view of the lake now. She was a bit bummed it wasn't her original apartment but realizes this will give her help 24/7 and she can do everything she was doing before. Happy hour, bible study , movie theater, lots of activities and people to be around I told her she was very lucky she could return to assisted living and not have to go to a long term care facility. She is doing very well considering what she has been through over the past 6 weeks. Thank you again for all the thoughts and prayers and positive energy you all put out there!! Much love to all of you
