We called the lab as soon as they had the blood to push them to run it faster. My heart was breaking for you, I knew what was coming. I'm sorry that you got such a harsh reaction when you asked questions :(
Sam's journey has inspired me to do more in the medicine world. Your story of faithfulness in the face of fear has inspired me to live a life without fear; to use all the gifts God has given to me. I have been called to Texas Children's in Houston working with complex pediatric kiddos. It is a new venture for some of the most chronic pediatric patients. An opportunity that I would have never been given without Sam.
I am thankful that God gave me the opportunity to care for your family. I'm certain that Sam's life and his legacy will have a lasting impact on more lives than just mine.
