.

Our prayer for you, your family, and Home

Grant them peace, most precious gift of all
Keep the worried world far away and small
When they return, may quiet fill their souls,
Dearest Lord, keep them safe within it's walls.

May the stone be cool beneath their feet.
The canyon breezes circle soft and sweet
When darkness falls, the stars and opal moon
Find them wrapped in each other, ever warm.

May it be a refuge for their love,
A harbor for their deepest prayer.
May they come to flourish in the grove,
Grow ever nearer to You there.

Many a burdened friend in their company rises,
A heavy heart is soon released to fly.
May their table be blessed with laughter and with grace
And by the comfort of kinship be surprised.

May it be a refuge for their love,
A harbor for their deepest prayer.
May they come to flourish in the grove,
Grow ever nearer to You there.

May the cold wind blow far from their front door
May the winter rains never bring them harm
May their hearthfires burn throughout the night
Grant them peace until morning's perfect light.

May it be a refuge for their love,
A harbor for their deepest prayer.
May they come to flourish in the grove,
Grow ever nearer to You there.

Hold fast to Hebrews 6:19 ⚓️

Sending you love and hugs

Thinking, praying and hoping hard that Sammy is getting better.  I just read about your precious boy in an article dated 5/11/14 from the MPLS Star Tribune.  I'm a little behind in my reading but my wishes for Sammy's complete recovery are now being sent strongly.  I loved when mom said she broke the rules of radiation isolation to hug her little man.  Sweet, loving prayers for you all.

Just a note of encouragement to take to heart the knowledge that God's love for you is never ending and His purpose for you is bigger than any problems we could ever struggle with. God promises to fill our needs as we share compassion and His love to others. Even while you walk through the difficult burdens and trials in your life continue to look for opportunities to encourage and uplift others and we know you will be enriched.

But be wise and prepare yourself "Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace." Protect yourself  "In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God," and strengthen yourself "praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication." Stay on God's focus for you "To that end keep alert with all perseverance,"  Ephesians 6:14-18

With a focus on God not promising to always gift us with what we "want" but does promise to provide what He knows we "need," remember with God ALL things truly are possible. May you see fruit of His work on you, with you, though you, and around you.

We continue to cover you in prayer. Hold fast to Hebrews 6:19 ⚓️

Sending you love and hugs

Again, I am in amazement of the similarities of your journey and that of my 8 year old nephew in La Crescent, MN. When I read your Caring Bridge entry this morning, it could have been his.
He is been hospitalized this last week because he doesn't have any white blood cells and although there is no cancer in his marrow, it isn't producing any WBC either. The body's response to the MiBg, the same. We don't know what is next either. But, like you, we will continue every attempt put before us. It is such a difficult and painful road. We continue to PRAY for Sammy and all of you. I hope the prayers, thoughts and support of family, friends and strangers, near and far bring your heart Peace and Hope and Strength to endure. We lean heavily on our Faith in God, even when we don't understand the suffering.
Hugs to you!

I can't begin to imagine the wide range of thoughts and feelings going on for you right now. When we learned our 4-year-old had diabetes and would require shots for the rest of his life, I spent the first night sobbing. I  couldn't pray. I could only think of the changes in his little life...and the dreams that were suddenly changing. So my husband and I will be doing what we couldn't (and you likely can't) do for ourselves...we promise to pray. God is huge and knows exactly why this is the path your family is on. We will pray for courage and strenght for you and healing for your precious son.
