*Brain Surgery Update*: For those following along, Sam’s surgery this morning went very well. The giant cyst and tumor tissue were successfully removed from his brain and the radiation tiles were successfully implanted. This was another awake surgery and it was a more difficult experience for him this time than the first time, but he handled it like a champ. He’s recovering in the Neuro ICU, talking and cracking jokes. Hopefully we’ll get to go home in a few days to continue the recovery process at home.
