A very spirited child of God indeed with the will and determination to go above and beyond the wildest of hopes and dreams. I can’t wait to hear what is able to accomplish going forward!
Summer, I'm sitting here reading this post and can feel all of your emotions inn this post from blame, worry, admiration, hope and belief while tears stream down my cheeks. I have always heard Paula talk about you of your personality, spunk, sassiness, strength and love that if Sam has even the smallest part of your personality that she's got this. She may have a lot of challenges to overcome and it will happen on her own terms but she's a fighter. You have your baby girl and she has so many people praying for her. There is a reason behind this, we don't understand God's meaning all of the time, believe me I know that all too well. Sometimes His intentions become clearer and others you will still wonder. Sam's desire to help others in sports medicine may first be her own challenges and letting others help her get through the obstacles. Summer if there is anything I can do for you, Justin or either of your daughters just let Paula know. I do not know you personally. I stumbled across a post on a softball website as I was browsing travel teams for my daughter. I am following Samantha’s story as my heart is heavy for all involved. Your post was touching and brought tears streaming down my face as I feel your love and admiration for your sweet Samantha. I can’t even imagine being in your shoes.
I know & have seen the power of prayer. I’m praying fervently for Samantha. God’s is sovereign and in control. Trusting Him to grant you comfort, strength, peace and hope for your amazing over achiever. Praying for a “take up your mat and walk” miracle. With God all things are possible.

What an amazing little girl you have! I work with Samantha's Dad and we are all praying and believing that Samantha will be that miracle. She is a child of God and only he has full control of her destiny no matter what doctors or anyone else says and even though I have never met her, I believe in my heart, she is going to come back to you. It is just going to take time and determination. Stay strong and stay positive #samanthastrong !!!
