Samantha’s Story

Site created on December 24, 2019

Samantha had a stroke about December 15th. Her good friend Lavina called her and came over Wednesday morning, December 18th. Samantha was disoriented and dehydrated so went to the hospital in an ambulance. They suspected she had a stroke and confirmed it with an MRI the evening of the 23rd. She was moved to an acute care rehabilitation hospital on Christmas Eve. We are using our CaringBridge website using to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. written by Samantha's sister from the Spokane area, Julie Rosenoff. December 24th, 2019.

Journal entry by Julie Rosenoff

Hoping to see some familiar faces-so stop by sometime while I'm in Tucson! I'm flying  next Tuesday, April 12. Staying 9 days-leaving the afternoon of Thursday, April 21.
Nothing too wild or crazy while I'm there-but it will be fantastic to spend time in person with Samantha.

I'm reminiscing my 2017 visit to Tucson with these pictures. Mark finally got to visit Biosphere 2 with Bruce and I. Three "science nerds" and we visited every square inch! Then a lovely dinner out--remember those days?

I've added a couple of more recent shots of me with my longer hair.

Over and out!
