Journal entry by Samuel Bennett

I had my Huntsman visit yest. We've been monitoring my disease progress app. Every 2 weeks waiting for it to reach a level for the study we've been discussing. It's BGB-11417. It's looking at BGB as monotherapy, and with the usual Dex and carfilzomib. Best case scenario, I get 3 yrs of remission before I go on another treatment. BGB is oral, but initially there are many visits. I'm hoping to get the monotherapy cohort as since I've been off Dex for about 8 weeks my arms are cleaner looking than they've been for years. Main side effects are the usual fatigue, GI issues, and infections. Right now I feel great. Have energy, motivation, and am more regular than I have been in quite a while. I'll be doing all the testing etc. Over the next few weeks, so mucho trips to Huntsman.
We already have a lot to do as we're trying to figure out what's up with Deborah. She's unable to do much which drives her crazy, so I've been carrying the load. We need to move in October which were both a bit anxious about. We can't live on the third floor or pay the outrageous rent. We're barely making it now and they'll raise the rent I'm sure. And of course with no added benefits to us. So once again it'll be a busy and unsure few months.
Here's a few pics I got yest on the way to Huntsman. Enjoy!
