The joy of the Lord is our strength as your family can attest. Prayers for you all as you experience the end of Sally’s transition from this world to the world with no end. Prayers for Sally the her journey is peaceful and pain free. (I would have ignored the hospice nurse too.) 🙂
We have just returned to Sea Oaks to learn about Sally and her journey. Although our friendship has been brief, my heart is exploding with grief and love for Sally and her family and friends who care so much. .... " when all is said and done, people won't remember what you did ... people won't remember what you said..... but ... people will always remember how you made them feel" ... Sally always made me feel good.... God Bless
Sherri, a beautiful post. Irene and I are praying for all of you. When I was small and afraid at night my Mother would come in and read the 23rd Psalm. It is beautiful and powerful.
Tears are falling. I am so grateful to have known Sally. Thanks for the beautiful posts and the wonderful pictures. I am praying for comfort and peace for all of you.
Thank you Sherri for sharing your Mom's beautiful but painful journey with us. It is hard to put into words how I feel but knowing like you said that she will be whole again and dancing in heaven gives us all renewed strength in God's love and comfort to all of us. Please know that I am keeping your Mom and all of you in my prayers and sending you all hugs.
As so many others have said, thank you for sharing all of this - so beautifully and tenderly written. It HAS truly been a gift and a blessing to know Sally (and indeed the whole family!) May you all feel our love and prayers as we feel so deeply and the tears fall as we read about this journey. We KNOW heaven is the destination and what an amazing witness your family has been. God is good...ALL the time...

God be with you til we meet again. By His counsels guide uphold you. With His sheep securely fold you. God be with you til we meet again.

God Bless all of you! Sherri, I read your posts and cry tears of sadness, joy, hope and faith. Sally, your strength and obvious love and trust in the Lord is a life lesson for all of us. You are all blessed to have such a strong, supportive family! The journey you are all on is surely a very difficult one but it is apparent that God's love surrounds all of you. Sally, Mark and I and the family send our love and prayers to you, we think of you so often. May God continue to bless, comfort and keep you in his loving arms! Love to all...… Mark and Laurie
