Dear Lord - like you needed more stress. I’m so sorry you had that experience but very thankful your appeal was successful! Griff and Caelahn are looking so forward to seeing Ryan tomorrow ! The best news however is Ryan’s progress- that is so awesome!! Keep up the fight! Sending love and prayers ❤️❤️

Keep up the great effort RP, but more importantly continue with your outstanding attitude. Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. Stay strong my friend. You've got this!

Wake up call to Kessler Administration and Doctors; for all the good you do there is a serious flaw in your process. Let's use Ryan's most recent situation as a learning tool and correct it so other families are not faced with the rush or anxiety to advocate for their family members. Hope you're listening.

Ryan has made amazing progress and it’s wonderful news that he can stay at Kessler - well done!

I feel that there is a gap in care between inpatient therapy to get patients to certain point in recovery and complete recovery. And that gap is the longest period of time in recovery... For traumatic brain injury, once Tom was sent home, he did outpatient therapy and when that was over he was still left with issues yet to be resolved. We needed to search out our own options as issues came up and, 2 years later, are still trying to navigate thru what we need and where to get it. I’ve found tremendous resources in online Facebook groups and organizations that support the type of injury - and tons of moral support and encouragement and empathy!

If you were able to “fight” for more time at Kessler, I’m sure you’ll be successful in getting what Ryan needs moving forward!

If you want to reach out to me, as a person that’s also in a supporting, caregiver role, please don’t hesitate. I know we don’t know each other (I know Mike from HFL but not Michele - who I assume is writing these updates) but we share the caregiver role so we have a lot in common... My contact info is below.

Keep up the good fight!
