This site is being started to keep all
of our family and friends updated on mom’s journey.  If there is anything new to report, it will be here.  Feel free to still reach out to her directly,  however if she doesn’t get back right away and you are concerned about what’s happening, come here.  We will be sure to keep everything current in regard to what’s happening   

This Sunday we got news that shook us to the core.   We thought mom had the flu so she went to the Urgent Care.  They did a chest scan and found a large mass on her lung and told her to go to the hospital right away. 

Given the current coronavirus situation, we can’t get the biopsy until things stabilize, however the consensus is clear, we are dealing with cancer. 

She was released yesterday evening and is home reasonably comfortable.  We are getting her to her primary care doctor this Tuesday to talk about next steps.  From what we understand thus far, the next steps will be getting the biopsy, giving this bastard disease a name and then the plan of action will be put in motion. 

She is a warrior!! If you have prayer warriors, call in all the troops!
