On behalf of Denny, Rachel and the rest of our family, I would like to express how truly grateful we are for the outpouring of love, comfort and compassion of all of our friends and family who have supported us through the last month. It has been difficult, to say the least. Thank you for helping make these hard times also a time to appreciate the good in our lives.
On June 16th, our family held a private, very small gathering of Mom's brothers and sisters in Denny's backyard. Pastor Pat Hammond, from First Presbyterian Church in Sioux Falls was there to provide some much needed assurances, prayers and thoughts for us all to reflect on and take with us. Below, I have provided a link to the video of that service, should you wish to take a moment to remember Ruth on your own.

We are still optimistic about having a memorial service open to other family and friends, but, unfortunately, it will not be taking place anytime soon. Your safety and good health are important to us! We will update you as we get any closer to deciding when and how to make such an event possible.
You are all so great. Really! Thank you, again, for your support.
