Journal entry by Michelle Haselhorst —
It took a little longer than expected to get all checked out and medications picked up, but Dad is finally back home and all cozy in his recliner tonight! It feels so good to have him back where he belongs. 💕 Now that he's home, we know people are going to want to come and see him, but we do want to remind everyone that he is still recovering. He's not quite back to his usual activity level yet and he needs to rest frequently. His recovery will be slow and steady so with that in mind, we kindly as that if you want to stop by for a visit, please contact mom first to make sure he is up for company. If you have any signs of illness, please plan your visit when you are healthy again. When you do visit, please don't try to hug him or shake his hand. With it being flu season, we need to try to limit his exposure to any nasty germs that could set him back in his recovery. Thank you again for all of the continued prayers!
