October 25, 2018 New problems and solutions

On Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 9:30 pm We were going to bed and Russ started having trouble breathing. He told me to call the EMT's to take him to the Hospital. He had minor heart attack (Acute on chronic combined systolic and diastolic congestive heart failure and Acute respiratory failure with Hypoxia). The treatment plan is to perform a heart cathitor and add to medication routine. Three new medications are Furosemide (Lasix), Lisinopril (Prinivil), and Magnesium oxide(Mag-Ox). Now we add a cardiologist to his Care team.

He said he still plans on fight this as long as he can. So all prayers are welcomed and thank for the love and care.

Update 2nd cycle of Chemo

Started 2nd cycle of chemo on Wednesday, Oct 17, 2018. Also had surgery for a med port put in his right shoulder. The port will make it easier for the nurses and doctors to drawn blood for test and give IV medicine without hunting for a blood vein. Russ won't feel like a pin cushion. Each day is different, some are good and some bad, moods charge each day. Some days Russ changes each hour even minutes. Keep praying for him. In December he will have another CT scan do to see if his tumor is getting smaller or stayed the same. Praying for good new for a Good Christmas.
