Over the last month, we have watched Ruby continue to grow and thrive.
Her vocabulary has exploded and she has definitely found her voice. She has gained physical strength and can now climb with ease. Her big brother remains her favorite person and she loves school, her school friends, and all the children in our neighborhood.
Tomorrow, however, will be different from her norm.
We will be taking her back to the hospital for bilateral ear tube placement. Even though this is a minor procedure, with Ruby’s special heart, the risk for complication is greater.
Please send good vibes and prayers for our sweet/sassy girl tomorrow. Please pray for the medical team involved in her care and that everything goes well. Finally, please send good vibes and prayers for her cousin Harleigh who is also having the same procedure tomorrow.
