Roxy’s Story

Site created on January 31, 2020

Roxy Lowe, an amazing single mother, daughter, sister, hard worker, and friend needs our love, support and help.  On Monday night, January 27th, 2020, Roxy was driving home from work in the early morning hours when her truck blew a tire causing her to have a severe car crash.  As a result of the crash, Roxy is currently in the hospital and will be going to rehabilitation for a spinal injury that resulted in fractured vertebrae (T10 and T11) and multiple fractured ribs.  At this time, Roxy is paralyzed from the waist down and will be figuring out what life will be to overcome this injury as well as how to support and take care of her beautiful 11 year old daughter, Hailee.

Please help us in supporting Roxy and Hailee through this journey with love, prayers, kind words, and, if you would like, a donation to help with expenses until Roxy is able to work again.  Click on Ways to Help on the CaringBridge site for more information.

Roxy is already upbeat and determined to make the best of the situation, and she and her family will be providing updates along the journey!  Thank you for your prayers and continued love and support!

Day #52 - prayers abound and we know they do. Many, many thanks are in order for Aunt Leah and Uncle Randy in Kansas. THANK YOU for sending such a precious blanket. We love you immensely!

Roxy, Hailee, and Mommy are weathering the “stay at home” order in Charlotte. Now that it has stopped raining (it rained for 3 days), maybe they can get out for a little exercise.

If you feel compelled, please share this link to our GoFundMe. Roxy purchased a new mattress since her memory foam mattress seemed to swallow her up and wasn’t very conducive to her movements as a paraplegic. We thank you for all of your sincere support.

Stay healthy; wash your hands!
