Journal entry by Roxie Brennan —
I am over the moon happy with my fourth and final neurological appointment today.
I have a great surgeon for the future, if needed and a new friend. Dr. Hylton, at KU neurology, is a fantastic doctor and person.
God lead me to him in a serendipitous way, but, that is often how He works, right?
I feel relieved, hopeful, and filled with many new ideas to help my present pain, without adding to it.
So, in a nutshell, 3 out 4 surgeons do not recommend surgery until I have neurological symptoms proving I have no choice. In that event, Dr Hylton suggests a much modified surgery taking off some of my present fusion plate at the top or bottom to relieve the pressure the plate is causing.
God has answered my prayers for guidance and locating the best physician for my needs.
Thank you for your encouragement and prayers.
I will discontine my journals at Caring Bridge at this point, but will continue with Bob’s and his test results in 3 weeks.
My love to you all!
