Roxanne’s Story

Site created on June 10, 2018

Hey Friends & Family,
We will be using this website to update everyone on how my mom is doing through this journey! I think everyone pretty much knows by now that in January my mom was diagnosed for the second time with Follicular Lymphoma. After multiple rounds of chemo, she is now on to the second phase of the treatment plan, a bone marrow transplant. She will begin a hospital stay of at least one month beginning on June 13th. She will start chemo on this day and every day after until June 19th. She is set to receive her stem cell (bone marrow) infusion on June 21st. She will receive more chemo after this on June 24th and 25th. I will update as any updates come in during this trying time for my mom. I know she is feeling covered in prayer, but we do request that you continue to keep praying for my sweet mama. Thank you everyone for all of the love and support! We love you 😘💚

Newest Update

Journal entry by Morgan Snell

Hey y’all,

Its been a really long time since I’ve been on here and given everyone an update on my mom, so here we go!

She has started back at work part-time for the month of January. She will go back to working full-time in February.
She checks in with the doctor once a month for now. All of her labs are looking really good and in the normal range. Her doctor visits will start to get further apart the further she gets post bone marrow transplant. Her cells are almost all covered by the donors cells, they will change up her medicine to make sure she has 100% donor cells.
She has been getting back into the swing of things by getting back into church and going to her church community group! We are so excited to see what God has in store for her in 2019. She has come so far and He has been so faithful to get all of us through this hump in our lives. We are so blessed!

If I have any other updates, I will post them. Things are going great right now and for that we are so thankful. ❤️
