Do you remember on October 9, 2017? We were texting and I received a message I was terrified to give you. I wondered if I heard it wrong. I wondered how it would impact Heidi and your children. I didn't want to tell you, because I didn't want to give you false hope. But then I heard that it wasn't my message, it was God's message for you. And so I was merely the vehicle to deliver God's message to you. "God has His loving hand of mercy and grace on you, Heidi and your children. He is going to walk you through this. (Uh... I just got that message from Him for YOU!) Yes, read that again. God is going to walk you THROUGH this! Very different message than walk with you through this. He still has great plans for you, Dr. Bethel!" Promise given October 9, 2017. Promise delivered July 2020. Our God is always faithful.
Ross, you have been an inspiration to us all of your faith. May God bless your days ahead with His leading and caring for you and your family. I hope we have another chance to do mission work together as we felt blessed sharing that experience with you twice in Kenya. I'm waiting for the next God calling to mission with eyes wide open to the possibilities. Thanks, Rick and Jan
