Dear Ross, what a fabulous uplifting praise of the Goodness of our Lord! So many miracles and prayers answered! Yes, Heidi stepped up to the caregiver job in a very gracious way! I have been both patient and caregiver, the later was the hardest! Cancer can tear a family apart or glue it in an unbelievable way!
You are blessed with a wonderful family, Ross! Your story has touched so many lives! This year in the long run has taught you things they dont teach in med school!
Yesterday I celebrated 8 years of bilateral breast cancer! Overall our lives are better in so many ways and my path crossed with many wonderful people who are now dear friends! Last summer I had some skin cancer but again it could have been worse but wasn't!
I have checked your page many times and today I have 2 messages there were posts you and a young Pastor who has a lot of relapses and had 30 brain tumors! I said a prayer before I read the journal posts! They gave Andrew a new targeting drug and all but 2 tumors were completely gone and those were much smaller and faded! Then I read yours! Wow, 2 for 2 great reports!
You are wise to pace yourself energy wise! Self care is a must! I actually can say No, rearrange my schedule and my life is much better! In fact I look nothing like my medical records which is proof I am a living miracle! And I know you definitely are!
So with that said father your sweet family around your Christmas tree and rejoice for your miracle! Merry Christmas!!
Blessings from Poulsbo, Kathi
