This is a quick note to let you know we are delaying the interment of Rosalie's ashes.  Those of you in NZ will be aware that the North Island has experienced a VERY wet week.  In order to do their work properly, Peninsula Memorials needs at least one more day of completely dry weather.  And that doesn't appear to be in sight this week!  One consolation:  the weather is coming from the north, so temperatures are warmer than usual.   

I leave on Tuesday, 9th May, for the States for my Temporary Home Assignment and won't be returning until 8th July, so we'll look for another opportunity for the interment later in the year.  

I'll look forward to a relaxing weekend here in Ngarimu Bay with Liz and Aidan and Emily; maybe God knows I've got a bit much on my plate at this time...  I should have allowed an extra week or three before heading off again. 🤣
