I'm really sorry to read about the tragedy you all faced. Life can unexpectedly change due to unforeseen occurrences, which we can read in Ecclesiastes 9:11 "I have seen something further under the sun, that the swift do not always win the race, nor do the mighty win the battle, nor do the wise always have the food, nor do the intelligent always have the riches, nor do those with knowledge always have success, because time and unexpected events overtake them all." Another one of my favorite scriptures while experiencing times of distress is 1 Peter 5:7 " while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you" So when we throw the ball to Him, try resisting grabbing it back.
