INDEPENDENCE (DISCHARGE) DAY!!😁

Hi everyone!
Ron was finally discharged from the hospital today and is now back home!!  It’s been a very long road and we still have a ways to go with his P/T and O/T but we’re going to take baby steps and get it done ✅ 

The neighborhood put up a sign and balloons welcoming him back home and Codyboy hasn’t left his side.  Browns Sweet Treats (thanks Darlene Brown) made him a delicious cake, which hopefully will put some weight back on him!!
We are just so glad he’s back home and looking forward to his continued progress in the future.

We are so thankful for the excellent care that Ron received while he was at Duke Regional and can’t say enough good things about the wonderful staff who made us feel like family. 💙
