Dear Peg, So sorry to hear that Ron has passed. As you know, he was best man at my wedding almost 58 years ago when we were both dumb sailors! He was a good friend and a good man. I am sorry not to have maintained contact over the years. Nathalie and I wish you all the best.

We are out of the country and won't be back for weeks. I wish we could be there to offer some kind of comfort. As usual, we had put off calling until things settled down. I will spend a long time regretting that. Send our regrets to Jennifer and Nicole and tell them how sad we are to hear the news.
