I just heard of Ron's cancer diagnosis and will definitely add both of you to my prayers. May Ron be up for the fight of this terrible disease but know your faith is with you 24/7. May I mention his fight on our Class Facebook page? You can never have enough prayer warriors.

14 !! Young eagles in the field behind our home! (Behind ELCO high school on Christmas Day)
I am chronically ill. Before we were able to get my pain under control God gave me a recurring dream where I was in a field and I would just lift up on wings of Eagles and sore! And during that time my body was completely Weightless and pain-free. It was wonderful!! It gave me a reprieve from the pain and discouragement ! God is so good!
Praying that God will give you both what you need, when you need it . And for complete healing!

He continues to encourage me to trust Him in the dark. Another timely message from Dr. Tony Evans yesterday said...If you are consumed by worry, you don't understand God. Rest. Trust. Pray. Then let it go. As we continue to stand in the gap for the two of you and your journey this resonates with me. God is hearing our prayers, as we continue to trust His timing. He is always at work even when circumstances are out of control. Another message from Dr.Evans this week said....When you see why God had you wait, you'll be blown away. :) Thanks for keeping us updated and for these specific requests. We are covering all of them. Love you both dearly.

Thanks for the update. I always enjoy hearing how things are going and what to especially pray for. I continue to pray for you as you are going through this journey. God knows and walks with us and sometimes carries us through the hardest times. Keep your focus on him. Sounds like you both are doing a great job with that. Thanks for sharing this, Lisa. It was such a special time to see you and Ron over Christmas. I wanted it to be as “normal” as possible for Ron so I held back tears as I hung out with both of you. I wanted this to be a time of remembering and living the fun times together — not dwelling on the sickness. I hope it was. I know it was for me. I love you both so much. So incredibly much. Even though I tried to focus on the good times, I was keenly aware of the facts of the situation and the weariness of everything. I am praying, I am choosing to stay positive, and know God is in control. Not me, not anybody: God is in control.
