Ron’s Story

Site created on May 26, 2021

Life can be wonderful, but it also can be very tough.
Ron was diagnosed with ALS in July of 2012, one month after our Dad died.
He has had quite a journey in the last 9 years,  he has lived life to the fullest of his ability.
ALS has attacked his mobility to control his muscles, so he is completely disabled, but he  is very aware of everything that is happening to him and is in control of his care.
Ron is an inspiration to so many struggling with life.  he does not complain about his disease and has actually encouraged others to live their best life.
Ron has two children Jessica age 18 and Ryan age 17.  When he first found out about this diagnosis, his kids where 8 and 10.  He has tried to show the kids how much he loves them by staying very connected to their lives.
It has been tough in the last couple years because he does not get out of bed much.
This page is to give you updates on how he is doing.
Thank you for all your love and support for Ron and our family. God bless you all!
