Mandy, I only met you a couple of times. My heart aches for you. I am glad you have your faith and your hope to make you strong. Rody was absolutely CRAZY about you and talked about you all the time. I’ll never forget the first time I came over to your place and FINALLY got to meet this wonderful person who made Rody so happy. God bless you and the kids. May he find some sort of mischief to get into, because knowing Rody - sitting on a cloud isn’t going to be enough.

God bless Rody Johnson. This man fearlessly and selflessly came to my house, climbed two 60-foot high pine trees and cut them down when he heard I couldn’t do it myself. My most fond memories of Rody, however, were working with him at Indio high school and our weekend hikes out into the desert. Then there were the ride-alongs; Rody could be the most compassionate person and the class clown simultaneously while also being the consummate professional. I learned a lot from this man, and I am grateful for all he taught me and every single moment we shared. I’ll miss you, William 177.
