Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your prayers, support, and words of hope and encouragement. Robyn had a stroke on Tuesday the 4th  and was rushed to the ER, where a ct scan and mri revealed that she had had several old small strokes before, which left her without the ability to speak, swallow, or walk. Well, I’m sitting on my porch waiting for the storm to roll in. The rain and clouds have brought the temperature down here in Nashville/Franklin.      It’s funny that the storm brings a blessing with it.      Robyn and I are learning not to fear the storm or even grumble about the storm but to embrace the blessings that the storm brings!      I’m obviously now talking about the storms of life. I know I haven’t updated in a while. Honestly, it’s been hard. Real hard. Not because something new has happened but because the reality is that things are happening slowly.      Rob, is fighting daily and working with determination, while I try to take care of her and make sure that life continues at home as “normal” as possible. But some days it’s just…hard!      In the midst of this storm there are so many blessings. We continue to get visits from incredible friends, Rob is progressing, even making her own rolls. And from one of the pictures you can see that she enjoys her relationship with her therapists.      The s
