My heart goes out to the Tomberlin family. I am very sorry for your loss. Rob and I went to Richfield High School and Normandale JC and played baseball together. I will always remember Rob as a great teammate and someone who persevered.

Tombo........you were a great player, great teammate and a great friend. You were the best we had and loved by the entire 1985 Western Kentucky University baseball team......there will never be another like you.

I loved Rob he was one of the funniest MF's I ever met in my life. He had a huge heart and loved to laugh and loved people but never took any shit from anyone ... and he could mash.
