Linda,

Thank you for sharing your Christmas with us and reminding us of what's important - faith, family, friends.... You and Rob have created such a legacy of love. You're right - Rob would have loved the food, the stories, the kids and grand kids the music, the gifts, the laughter and, most of all, being with you.

You had quite the celebration!! You need to talk on those quiet, lonely times? Call me or come to my house. We can sit quietly & sip coffee or cider or water. Our family loves your family so much!!

No words can express what I feel for you and the family in the loss of Rob, Linda. So much we don’t understand on this earth! The reminders from God’s Word are the only thing that bring comfort....we WILL see Rob again, God IS faithful, he DOES care when we hurt and “underneath are the everlasting arms.” I believe Rob would encourage you to just keep trusting and serving Jesus and that he will see you again. Until then, be reminded that you and Rob raised some pretty amazing girls! One day at a time, sweet lady!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and family in this post. One amazing gift is Rob lives on in all of you and all of us who were graced to know him. Hang onto your memories as you continue to navigate your transition to living fully without Rob sharing your swing. Here if you need me - love you all.

Linda, thank you so much for sharing your heart. And what a legacy your dear husband has left in you and your family. It is a tribute to you that family still look forward to being together and keeping his memory alive. He would be so proud of all you have done! Praying for you this evening as you reflect on all these memories. Hugs!

A beautiful post honoring your dear husband and, most importantly, our Savior Jesus Christ. So often when I have read posts from you or one of your girls I have wished that I (we) had taken the opportunity to know Rob better. He must have been a terrific, fun-loving guy and that is brought out in so many of the stories that have been told about him. May your memories bring you joy and May the promise of heavenly reunion give you hope. Love, Bev
