Happy Easter! I’m sure you are looking forward to nice spring weather so you can be outside and enjoy the warm sunshine and regrowth of leaves and plants. Take care-think of you everyday and wish for your full recovery.

Hi everyone … note from Rob ….this week is my 11 chemo session. I had a pet scan completed after 10 sessions: The results of this new scan were simply fantastic as a quote from my Oncologist. The results of the test indicate low probability of any active cancer cells in my body. As a result of this my treatment plan was modified to a a different collection of drugs which are considered “maintenance” level chemo. Being half way through the first one it is a lot less harsh on my system.
I want to thank you all for all the help in each of your unique ways. I am feeling better in these last weeks and that is confirmation. I am now working to get a plan to be able to remove the feeding tube which has been my only nutrition source for the last 22weeks.
I am humbled by the whole process and even more by the collection of friends.
As in all healing & recovery , it’s two steps forward , one back . After 2 wk of helping Rob , he needs to REST more to regain his strength after each chemo session. Cole & I continue gentle reminders to stand or move to take breaks from sitting but little listen to body for longer rest periods . He has strong drive to accomplish things so taught him the art of “puttering”😉. He enjoys his visit with cousin David , Lori, Aunt Rosalie & friend Todd this week .
He enjoys the winter visitors at the feeder and we got excited seeing a Hairy woodpecker . I loved seeing him smile when told him I filled the feeder .
Your prayers , cards or calls with words of encouragement are appreciated!
So happy to see your weight is improving with new formula . Your determination and positive attitude is amazing ! It’s a still a journey but you got this . Happy New year , bro ! You are on your way to Restore your health in 2024
