Robin’s Story

Site created on August 27, 2021

Hi everyone!

I've created this site as an opportunity for everybody to receive frequent updates on my mom, Robin. The amount of positive words and prayers you all have given has not gone unnoticed. However, it has become an unfortunate struggle to navigate my emotions and day-to-day life while still making sure to update each and every one of you individually. My hopes for this site is to give everyone the chance to stay informed and updated promptly without having to reach out to me directly so that I may take care of my own mental health.

I miss her everyday and I know all of you do too. Thank you for being so understanding.

I have just recently switched to an 'every-other-day' update schedule with the hospital so I will be receiving detailed updates on her health and progress every other day from now until she is back home with us. If you have any questions/comments/prayers you would like to add, feel free to just comment on the journal entries that are posted!

Update:
With such a heavy and broken heart, I have to announce my precious momma did not survive this fight. She put up a hard and good fight for over a month.
This woman was truly the best person in my life and I am so lost on what to do or how to go on without her.

Mom, I love you. I do not blame you. I am not mad at you. I am so happy that you were my mom. Lucas will grow up knowing what an amazing and perfect woman you were. He will love you just as much as I do. I can’t believe I have to live without you. How am I supposed to get through everyday without talking to you or hearing your contagious laugh.
This is hard.
Thank you for teaching me how to be the best mother. Growing up having you by my side was my favorite part of this life. I will miss you forever.

September, 7th at 12:12 we lost an amazing woman, but gained the most perfect angel. ❤️
