Rob’s Story

Site created on January 29, 2019

As many of you know, Rob's health started to deteriorate in September of last year.  Doctors believe a combination of Atrial Fibrillation (AFIB), kidney issues and a bone marrow disorder all partially contributed to his health decline.  In isolation, none of the conditions should have caused his health decline to where it is today.  The combination of factors and an inability to adequately nourish himself during a recent stay at a skilled nursing facility caused doctors to admit him to Hoag about a week ago.   He will have a long road to recovery from this point, but with all of our help, support and well wishes, we can help him get well.
