Our dear brother has run his race. He has fought his fight. Robert has trained, mentored and been a spiritual father to a vast multitude of emerging and existing leaders around the world.
Now he has finished well. He is now in the Presence of His mighty God and glorious Saviour!
We miss him deeply already. But we do not mourn like those who have no hope.
Very soon Robert will be raised up with all those who love Jesus, and for eternity we will be together in the fullness of God’s love, beauty and glory.
In the meantime, may we all follow in Robert’s footsteps. He served His Lord with great integrity, selflessness and passion. He finished really, really well.
I am deeply saddened for your great loss Vilia. For all of us... who were blessed by Robert's love, compassion, humor, wisdom, teaching and preaching. He was one-of-a-kind, and will forever remain in my heart and mind as the inspiring and precious human being he was. I can only imagine...what Robert's reunion was like in heaven?! Peace, prayers and an extra measure of love and support to you now Vilia.
Father God, I miss my dear friend, Robert. What a beautiful, Christ- centered life Robert led. We grieve now at his loss but know that Robert is in your presence today!
Vilia, you are in our hearts and prayers. You and Robert are so loved by us and so many, and his loss is a great one. But throughout everything, your faith and hope in the Lord has been inspiring, and so we take comfort in knowing that he is with our Lord at last. We pray for strength and comfort for you in the coming days.

Oh Vilia. Words feel so inadequate. So many tears for this loss, particularly for you. Robert impacted and inspired me more than most people on this earth and came along right when I needed it.
