So sorry for your loss of your dear spouse, father and grandfather. Although I met Bob only at Eric and Elizabeth's wedding, I know that family was very important to him and that he and Harriet raised 3 wonderful women who are raising their own families and who also cherish family with bi- annual get togethers. He was willing to help with projects and would travel to do so (including Alaska!) and that he loved the native dance festival in Bethel. He was well loved and tended to by his daughters and their children and spouses and wife Harriet. Wishing you God's blessing.
it is a very endearing tribute to a man who was willing to help anyone, and always with a smile. i have many good memories of mr roll (and mrs roll) who let us (sarah & i, & friends) explore just about anywhere throughout the property and house. we were detectives and spies, we discovered, laughed, snickered, "mcguyvered", explored, and experimented our way through our childhood years whenever i hung out at the roll house. we borrowed tools, buckets, hats, ropes and a host of other things on our adventures, and mr roll was our resource for most of it. i only have fond memories of mr roll. imaginations were encouraged to grow through his support! he was a man of fun and adventure!
What a well written tribute to your Dad! Anyone reading this will understand a little better just what a giving man he was. Sending love to each of you and praying you will feel strength and comfort from our Lord.
