Dianna, Alan and I were so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. We so enjoyed connecting with the two of you in Seattle a number of years ago and regret not having the opportunity to do it again. Alan says that Bob made a deep impression on him, and he felt like he had known him for ages. Bob really had a tremendous wit and certain elan that sparked through, despite his struggle with Parkinson's. It was clear that it was a struggle that the two of you faced together, and that your love and devotion was as strong as ever. (I still remember when you came home to El Sobrante from college after meeting Bob. Already you knew he was the love of your life).
