To the Couch family, as life would have it, I am back on this Caring Bridge site. I see Roberts site
attached to My phone name, and I took a sigh, and said, wow. No comments since November. So I wanted to say, thinking of you all as 2020 starts off. Praying that Christ still reigns in your lives and that you are comforted in knowing that Robert is resting in the arms of God. Carolyn.
I had the privilege of working with Dr. Couch for the past few years. It was always a pleasure to work with him. He treated everyone with kindness and compassion to include co-workers. He was a wonderful Physician and a wonderful person. He will be sorely missed!
He spoke often of his family to include the newest addition, Rufus :)
My continued thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers go to the family of Bob. I was an RN at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital and served in many capacities including Director of Medical Surgical Services. During my many years at the hospital I had the pleasure of working with Bob. He was truly an inspiration and was a physician who loved his patients and his work. We were always in good hands when he was working. God bless Bob and his wonderful and caring family.
What a tragic loss for the world. Bob's benevolent spirit is palpable just being in his presence and seeing him smile. He routinely inspired his colleagues with selflessness and conviction for what is right. I hope you embrace his wonderful legacy and continue to be embraced his ever-abundant love. He is great man and will be remembered with warmth.
Joe and I are so sorry and are keeping you in our thoughts. Both of us have known Bob for years professionally and think the world of him. I have had the pleasure to work with him at Norton Healthcare and when i had an unexpected ED visit last year I was so thankful he was my doctor. I am very thankful to have knowm him!
Prayers go to you........
