Corbin- I am sorry that you are going through this! Hard to believe I haven’t seen you since 1996! I have great memories of your environmental systems class at MPHS and I am thankful to have had you as a teacher. Beyond the class time, you were great at challenging the way I looked at the world and you pushed many of us to step up in leadership in different ways. Organizing the opposition to developing the woods around MPHS was a formative experience and out of the box for me. Your pursuit of graduate school and continued education was also a great example. My pursuit of plant breeding, genetics, and forestry is directly connected to my experience in your env. systems class, and I continue an adjunct faculty role to help develop graduate students because I had great teachers like you. Prayers for you and your family.

You have not wasted time as far as I can tell. Your teaching and mentoring so many students over the years will ensure that you will live on for generations. Your work at Discovery place was an inspiration to those who worked for you and the ones you came in contact with. Our daughter, Carrie, is one of the beneficiaries of your caring nature. Keep fighting the good fight and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you every step of the way. Jennifer and Gary Moore

Thank you Mr. Corbin for reminding us of the value of each moment. It's so easy as a parent to young kids to lose sight of the big picture, and as global citizen to lose hope.
Your wisdom and grace is the anecdote to both.
Praying for you and your family.

Dr. Corbin, I am heartbroken to see what you are going through. I always remember how you and Dr. Wimberley had such a great rapport and was always amazed and awed to listen to the two of you converse!! I am so sorry you are going through this and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you a "virtual" hug!! Linda Morris

I have been thinking about mortality, and your words inspire me to let go of the trivial, petty annoyances that sometimes fill up an entire day or more. Thank you, Robert, for your intelligence, your loving heart, and your pragmatic perspective. You are very loved.

Robert, your introspection is inspiring. We are all going to die. The important thing is to make the most of the time we have, in the moment. You are doing that. No time for regrets... just for moving forward and living in the moment. Thank you for sharing your insights. As always, they are greatly appreciated. XOXO you! THISSSSSSSSS MUCCCCCCHHHHHHH!!!!!

Generative as ever Robert! Thank you for this wonderful reminder of what life is! The present… in the present. After 14 years of meditation, I still needed this reminder. You are, as ever, a gift to all that know you! Xoxo
