Journal entry by Sharon Brager —
As Rob has described it, we have had "solidly good news" after his first ct-scan. Following two rounds of chemo treatment, his scans are almost completely clear. This is what we had been told would happen most likely, but until you get the scan, you don't know. You can imagine the elation and relief we have been feeling in the last week. Thank you for all of your kindness, prayers, good thoughts, and overall positive energy.
Given this good news, and the fact that we and our kids are in and out the rest of the summer, we are going to stop the dinners on Wednesdays. The meals have been wonderful! And, an especially big help during the first month or so, but in a great way, we don't need the help right now. Please take a meal to someone else you know who needs it more than us right now.
There will be 2 to 4 more rounds of chemo, which are not fun at all, but seem a little less bad now that we know they are working. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts, prayers, meditations, or whatever! We're very grateful.
Have a fantastic summer!! We hope to see you soon! Hugs!
