Robbie “Joe”’s Story

Robbie “Joe” Brown

Joe has been fighting a long battle with Infected Necrotizing Pancreatitis. He has been in the hospital since early April. Please send prayers and words of encouragement for the Brown family and medical staff as we prepare for him to undergo a high-risk surgery on Wednesday 7/17/19.

As Joe has been unable to work and will be in recovery for many months to come, the medical bills and daily household expenses are mounting. Joe and His wife, Sue Zook Brown, have always been the first in line to help others in need. Now they need us to help in any way we can. If you are able to make a donation, it will help Joe and Sue and their family to focus on his recovery instead of worrying about their bills. Visit the Facebook page below for details on a silent auction event to be held on August 24 at the American Legion in Mitchellville. https://www.facebook.com/events/2587639784588162/?ti=ia

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Hallelujah, dad is HOME!

Dr. Tee sent dad home yesterday afternoon.  He has several doctor appointments this coming week, after which we should find out when he has to go to Iowa City for the double balloon procedure.  He is on intravenous  nutrition for now.
