Christie, Your beautiful letter holds so much love for your mother. I know I am one of many who felt we were the lucky ones to call your mother friend. When I think of your mother I am reminded of something I read long ago “ A day in June could take a lesson from her”. I actually just thought of Rita last night when I went to see Momix at the District Theatre. I looked into the box office by the entrance, expecting to see her there.
My heart aches for you and reading how difficult this is for you made me cry, and also takes me back to when I lost my Dad, almost 31 years ago. The pain will always be there, but it will soften with time. I send you my love and healing thoughts.❤️‍🩹 Polly Ross
