RitaHope is back in the hospital being treated with antibiotics for necrotizing entercolitis (short bowel). The reason she’s there and not being treated at home is because of her heart history and her age. We are hopeful (because it was caught early) that the antibiotics will clear the infection. If they don’t, she’s looking at a bowel resection surgery.
