Welcome to our CaringBridge website.   I have been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and after several tests it has been determined it is operable.  I have been through this fight once before and will fight again to beat cancer.  Tom and I are using this web page to keep family and friends all updated.  We appreciate and welcome your support and prayers!!  Thank you for visiting.

Still Recovering

I am still recovering at home.  The drains are out which makes it a lot more comfortable.  The incisions from drains and surgery are still healing.  My digestive system is getting better slowly. Since they removed 60% of the pancreas it takes time for the pancreas to both heal and increase the productivity of that missing portion.    The Dr is confident it will get better, but again taking time for the healing.
